Active Duty Military Pay

Effective after December 31, 2015 on taxes collected, all active military duty pay is nontaxable for Earned Income Tax purposes.  This would impact the individual's return for tax year 2016 due in April of 2017.  It is not retroactive so the taxability is as follows:

For 2012 through 2015, activie military duty pay was taxable.  Prior to 2012 and after 2015, it is non taxable.  Please call the Bureau for any needed clarification.
